There were 8 germans following them from the truck. Wounded guy that was left behind shot one in shootout and two died when his grenade exploded. Later on there was scene with six germans . Over acting>> <<@daviddavies3578 says : OMG Its Dunkirk the start of the War, one of the troops is wearing a Para badge, that regiment was not yet formed. The older Officer was meant to have been a Marine, but the badge was on an Airborne Beret. One of the other soldiers had scrimmage netting on an helmet that was not yet standard issue to British forces.
